Toothpaste can produce waste too. How can you eliminate your plastic toothpaste tubes?

Zero waste toothpaste?

Toothpaste is the thing that keeps our mouths smelling fresh and clean after a long night of sleep. It also produces 1 billion plastic toothpaste tubes a year. That is the volume of 50 Empire State buildings. And that's just one year. That all ends up in a landfill.

Bite is a product that makes no plastic waste toothpaste. Bites are dry tablets that come in recyclable glass jars. They can be refilled with the compostable refill packages. Bites are cruelty-free, better for your body, and made with eco-friendly ingredients.

In the beginning, Lindsay McCormick wasn't looking to start a company. She just wanted to solve a simple everyday problem. Before Bites, she worked at a job requiring her to travel around the world. Lindsay started to realize that plastic toothpaste tubes were extremely wasteful. Lindsay was not a chemist so she spent her Saturdays experimenting until she made a tablet of toothpaste that turned into the company Bite.
